It all began as a hobby in 1986, when the company was formed under the name Freequizzes. Hobby became passion and then slowly evolved into enterprise. By 1998, the company was going so strong that we were able to launch our first ever website to provide our pub quiz service nationwide.

Of course, by now things had changed. Freequizzes had become a true business and as of December 2000, a Limited Company. However, although we did (and still do) offer some free samples, our name no longer encompassed the true nature of the company. So it was, after over 20 years trading as Freequizzes, we had to relinquish the name. We became Instant Quizzes Ltd. on 5th November 2009 and have continued to grow our brand ever since.

So what does our brand mean? Well, beyond being the nation’s leading pub quiz compilers and providers, we also promise meticulous research, and fresh, new quizzes that are available to download instantly every week. From Bumper Packs to Bingo Quizzes, we aim to be all things to all quizmasters at Instant Quizzes.
